Interns Share Learning Experiences

A group of our interns (pictured above) got together to present the key learnings from their work experience with PM Group.

Speaking about their placements to a group of colleagues and senior managers, a major takeaway for most participants was the importance of effective communication;

Projects can often involve large numbers of people carrying out a wide variety of complex tasks. Consequently, clear concise instruction and communication is essential”.
Luke, 3rd year, Process Engineering.

My experience here allowed me to completely overhaul my time management skills. It gave me the ability to adapt to any workload presented”.
Kevin, 3rd year, Mechanical Engineering.

I got to put into practice the knowledge acquired during my three years at college. Working within a multi-discipline team, I was always encouraged to ask questions and made feel part of the team”.
Amy, 3rd year, Instrumentation Engineering.

“I thoroughly enjoyed my time both in the office and on site. The main thing that stood out was the work atmosphere. Everybody was very helpful and friendly which made the placement both educational and enjoyable
Liam, 3rd year, Instrumentation Engineering.
