Graham’s Smart Materials Project Wins Innovation Award

Congratulations to Graduate Programme participant Graham Langton who was announced Overall Winner of PM Group’s Innovation in Action Awards for his Innovation Project SMEED (Smart Materials for Energy Efficient Design) which involves utilizing smart materials in the design of Near Zero Energy Buildings. Graham also wins the €10,000 prize.

“I’m delighted and honoured to have won this Award against such impressive competition” said Building Services Engineer Graham “And I’m looking forward to developing this innovation. It will be great to stand in a Near Zero Energy building that is based on this innovation and use of smart materials.”

Graham is a Building Services Engineer, an Energy and Sustainable Building Design specialist and LEED AP.  He’s currently working on the Alexion project and also has experience in LEED and Energy Efficiency assignments for clients including Glanbia (Food), John & Johnson (Medtech),  Griffols and GSK (Pharma) and confidential Data Centre clients.
